ABOUT US

 Simon has spent the past 15 years working in the chandlery field. Prior to that he also worked as crew member and then captain on yachts. He has a deep knowledge of what it takes to keep a vessel up and running. His first involvement in the yachting industry was a day working job in the South of France painting engine room bilges. Although bilge and tank painting may not be the most glamorous part of yachting, it was the beginning of a long lasting relationship with the industry. From there his first full-time crew position lead to many more years working aboard various yachts in the deck and engineering departments and cruising to some of the less traveled ports of the world. He holds a MCA 3000 Ton Masters and is also a dive master.  

 Jodi started in the marine industry out of college and has been a part of the community ever since, becoming the expert she is today. She has specifically been working in the Chandlery field for fifteen years specializing in yachts. She is proficient in sourcing all things interior, as well as shipping, exporting and accounting. She is a logistical wizard who can get your spares anywhere in the world in a flash. When she’s not running the business she enjoys horse-back riding, martial arts, mountain biking and spending family time with her two sons and husband. 

 Phillip is an engineer extraordinaire who earned a four year mechanical engineering degree from the University of Florida. He truly has a gift when it comes to troubleshooting and design. He has an extensive knowledge of everything engineering from electrical to mechanical, if you have a problem Phillip has your answer. His interests include scuba diving the local reefs, photography, flying his drone and working on personal projects. Originally from Jamaica he loves to bring in traditional food into the office, come by and ask for some Jerk Chicken, you may just get lucky. 

 Jeremy is a graduate from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and has been a part of the Longbow team since 2014. He is a great researcher and can find the right parts at the best value. He also helps organize the Longbow events and is in charge of marketing and advertising. If he is not sourcing parts, you can probably find him playing a game of basketball or skateboarding a local skate park. He also knows the few spots in South Florida that actually get waves, so if you surf or skate he can help you find the best local spots. 

 Dylan has been part of the Longbow crew for a few years now, but was no stranger to the yachting world before that.. With a family that has a marine background he was brought up around boats and yachts his entire life. He helps in the office placing orders, and specializes with the deck items. You will also see him around driving and delivering items anywhere from Miami to Port Canaveral. When he is not working and giving great customer service he enjoys to golf the best local courses. 

 Isvy is the artistic and energetic bright face of the office. She administers our accounting department verifying all invoices are correct. A South Florida native with strong Hispanic ties, she is a great addition to the Longbow crew. She is also a huge sports fan, American football, basketball and baseball, all South Florida teams of course. Eventually we may manage to educate here about some of the sports the rest of the world play like rugby and football (that’s soccer to you Isvy).

 Katie is a new edition to our Longbow crew, but has learned very quickly. She is on her way to being a yachting and accounting expert. Katie is a jack of all trades helping out our accounting department, working in our Yacht Shop, supervising our shipping department and doing local deliveries to the marinas. She has a big smile and an even bigger heart. Her biggest hobby is fishing, whether it be 10 miles offshore or in a canal behind her house. She also has the connection to the best crab restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale.
